Innovative Grants

*** Recent changes and clarifications to grant policies:

  • Grant applications should be submitted to Sue Mangan at:
  • The KEF welcomes joint grant proposals from multiple schools (for example, all elementary schools).  Please submit a single proposal and indicate which schools it is for.  The maximum grant amount for a joint proposal is $1,000 per school.
  • Please type "KEF Grant" as the subject line for all grant proposals.  This will help ensure that your e-mail isn't treated as SPAM and accidentally deleted.
  • Grants are now awarded year-round.  Grant applications may be submitted at any time.  In addition, funds available for grants have more than tripled since last year -- We need your grant submissions!

The Kennett Education Foundation Innovative Grants Program brings new resources into the Kennett Consolidated School District.  Innovative ideas and program pilots are often difficult to fund through traditional school financing routes.  These program pilots, however, when tied to the educational goals of the school district, are often key catalysts for improvement.

Grants of $100 to $1000 will be awarded to enable new programs in the classrooms or in extracurricular activities for the Kennett Consolidated School District.  The bottom of this page describes how to apply for a grant.
