The Kennett Education Foundation

Pennsylvania EITC

The Kennett Education Foundation (KEF) is listed as an Educational Improvement Organization eligible for donations under Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC).  This program allows businesses in the Commonwealth to earn a tax credit for up to 90% of their donations to the KEF.  In other words, it costs businesses as little as ten cents to donate a dollar.  For details about the PA EITC program, click here.

To date, the KEF has received the following corporate donations through PA EITC:

  • The Bryn Mawr Trust Company, $3,000

  • GIANT Food Stores, LLC, $2,500

  • Community Care Behavioral Health Organization (UPMC Health Plan), $2,500

  • National Penn Bank, $2,500

All EITC donations are being used to enable students at Kennett High School to take selected college courses on-line.  These courses, done in the evening, are in addition to each student's normal workload.

Thank you Bryn Mawr Trust, GIANT Food Stores, Community Care Behavioral Health Organization, and National Penn Bank for your support!
