The Kennett
Education Foundation (KEF) is a community-based foundation devoted
to enhancing the educational experience in the Kennett Consolidated
School District by providing support and scholarships to students,
and innovative grants to teachers and educators.

the scholarships that were awarded (click here for details). -
Thank you to
our sponsors and donors who made our Spring Fundraiser a huge
success! We raised nearly $30,000.

Thank you to
National Penn Bank for their recent
contribution of $2,500 to the
KEF through the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit
Program. This donation brings our total EITC funds to
$10,500. EITC donations are being used to enable students at
Kennett High School to take selected college courses on-line.

Innovative Grants are now awarded year-round with
nearly $15,000 awarded for the 2007-2008 school year. We
have lots of funds for 2008-2009, so send us your grant proposals!

Honor-a-Teacher program revised. 100% of your Honor-a-Teacher
donations fund innovative classroom grants. You may also
honor administrators, retired teachers, etc..

The Kennett Education Foundation meets the third Friday of each
month (except July, November, and December), at 7:30 am in the KCSD Office. All are welcome
to attend.
