About the event

After 11 great years...we’re mixing things up!

The Kennett Education Foundation’s Monster Mash 5K Dash and Kids Spooky Sprint, presented by Cari Orthodontics, will be held Sunday, October 27th at 4:30 p.m. Yes...an evening event! (Don't worry it's before the Eagles game!)

Here are some other new things to look forward to:

  • SCHOOL PARTICIPATION GRANTS! - School with highest % participation will receive a $2500 grant! (2nd place - $1000 & 3rd place - $500)
  • 5K Relay: Two runners or walkers each complete 1.55 miles
  • 2 Spooky Sprints: One for ages 5 and under and another for ages 6-10
  • New Giveaways: Canvas trick or treat bags for Sprinters & cool Kennett baseball hats for all Mashers

Everyone is encouraged to come in costume as you support Education Grants, Scholarships and STEM in KCSD. Awards will be given for the best costumes!

Pre-registration is $25 for the 5K Run & Walk / 5K Relay, and $10 for the Spooky Sprints (kids 10 and under) through October 5. Prices go up on October 6, so register today! Online registration is open through midnight Friday, October 18.

On-site race day registration will be available starting at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday evening at $30 for the 5K Run & Walk / 5K Relay and $15 for the Spooky Sprints. Custom Trick or Treat bags & Kennett Baseball hats are guaranteed for all pre-registered participants. Healthy treats provided to all runners!  Don't miss out on this local tradition as we scare up a lot of fun at the park. Register today!
