The Kennett
Education Foundation (KEF) is a community-based foundation devoted
to enhancing the educational experience in the Kennett Consolidated
School District by providing support and scholarships to students,
and innovative grants to teachers and educators.

the Date *** Spring Fundraiser, Wednesday, May 7, 2008. -
Thank you to
National Penn Bank for their recent
contribution of $2,500 to the
KEF through the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit
Program. This donation brings our total EITC funds to
$10,500. EITC donations are being used to enable students at
Kennett High School to take selected college courses on-line.

Innovative Grants are now awarded year-round with
more than $11,000 awarded so far this year. Available funds for grants have
more than tripled for 2007-2008, so send us your grant proposals!

Kennett High School Graduation. Congratulations Class of
2007! The KEF manages eight of the scholarships that were
awarded (click here for details). -
April 25: Spring Fundraiser and Silent Auction raised more than
$26,000 to benefit teacher grants and student scholarships.

Honor-a-Teacher program revised. 100% of your Honor-a-Teacher
donations fund innovative classroom grants. You may also
honor administrators, retired teachers, etc..

The Kennett Education Foundation meets the third Friday of each
month (except July, November, and December), at 7:30 am in the KCSD Office. All are welcome
to attend.
