Our Mission

The Kennett Education Foundation (KEF) is a community-based, non-profit foundation, committed to supporting and enriching the educational experience in the Kennett Consolidated School District by providing Education Grants to educators and students and Scholarships to graduating seniors.


Outstanding Teachers

Kennett is very fortunate to have dedicated teachers who go above and beyond to help their students and fellow teachers.  KEF is thrilled to recognize the 2014 Outstanding Teachers of the Year! 

$10,000 Super Grant

Congratulations to Virginia McGarvey and Lisa Teixeira for winning the $10,000 Super Grant for their project Bridge Building in Reading for the 21st Century at KMS and KHS.


Ms. Leigh Castle, at Bancroft Elementary School, was awarded an Education Grant for her Mileage Club which will inspire students to adopt a life long love of physical activity.
